First to ‘worst’: Lowly TCU stuns Jayhawks

Good Lord people. This isn't the end of the world. We're so spoiled, thinking we will and should win every game. I'm sure you have your "A game" every single day at work.

Sound Off: Are they running a shuttle for the KU football games? Where do you get on, how much does

$20 per vehicle for the FREE shuttle in Lot 90, by the rec center, east of the fieldhouse

Sound Off: I'm a neighbor near Southwest Middle School, and several nights a week and on Saturdays,

They also park on 27th Street by fire hydrants. There is a HUGE EMPTY school parking lot for that school so I don't know why these vehicles do not park there instead of along the street. Actually I do know...they don't want to walk. Nothing will be done until a child runs out between the vehicles and gets hurt and then everyone will be pointing fingers at each other.

Part-time driver hired for KU's chancellor

I think this is a great idea! The driver can focus on the driving and the chancellor can focus on her work and not have to deal with the traffic or crazy drivers.

Girl Scouts change cookie tactics

I don't mind them setting up shop throughout town, or any other organization who sells stuff. What I don't like is being approached by the kids. I see you are selling something. I see what you are selling. I'll stop if I want to buy something.

Town Talk: Hy-Vee seeks to build convenience store on Clinton Parkway; planners take aim at firing range issues; would you like wooden streets any better?

No gas stations between Wakarusa and Iowa, correct. But having one so close to Wakarusa where there is one, any new one should be more towards Iowa, but where is the question

Search for missing 7-year-old set to resume Sunday morning

Others above share the same compassion as I do. I do want to point out the date under the video shows June 2 where it should say July 2. I only point this out in case later on people try to find the video and maybe the incorrect month may cause problems. I am not an insensitive person by only pointing out the incorrect date. I actually had a nephew drown a few years ago and I know how devistating it can be to hear the news.

One person dies after being struck by a piece of metal that fell from an oncoming vehicle on the SLT in Lawrence

How very sad. Prayers to the family. I worked with a man and his wife died of a similar freak accident. As mrbig stated, I bet the driver has no idea. God bless all involved.
