KU signee Joel Embiid praised for defense at Jordan Classic
I didn't get to see any of it, but by your comment, it sounds like Dick Vitale was involved if there was a lack of conversation about the game that was going on !!!!!

KU freshman Ben McLemore earns All-America honors
I don't believe for a minute that next year will "be a tough year" just because we don't get Wiggins. HCBS has guys coming in that can play, and if they play the way he demands, they'll be good and potentially great.
Still think he'll end up at Florida State...he can be the guy there.
Also, don't think we can assume that UK will "win it all next year" just because they have all those guys. Once they roll the ball out for games, all those "king of their own world" players have to learn how to play with each other. Ego's will have to be meshed and if they don't, I could see that team being a train wreck.
All this talk now is just talk, or sports bar coaching, or whatever you want to call it.
I still like our coach a heckuva lot more than UK's

KU football recruiting draws to a close
This continual contacting guys after they've announce their intentions is just another problem with how the NCAA doesn't work.
Once the guy has verbally committed, he should be insulated from any other contact by "rippers" from other schools trying get him to change.
Now if the kids reopens his recruitment like Savage did, that's different.

Opinion: Ben McLemore once again shows his huge upside
"Crafty" is not a word I'd associate with Gipson....ever.....

Solitary swipe: Ben McLemore's late steal turns tide in 69-62 KU win
"We couldn’t get to the free-throw line." had more to do with the unaggressive way they played offense nearly the entire game. It was only late that EJ started turning the corner and going hard to the hole.
I thought they seemed slow most of the game, but all said, they will have to win games like this and they figured out how yesterday.

Report: Chiefs closing on Reid as next coach
Spot on cheese.....
Time to end the failed New England west experiment, and go a different direction.
I would prefer Dorsey as he's coming from a proven winning club.

Kansas men eager to play again
if you put Tyshawn Taylor's name in place of Elijah Johnson in the last post, it will sound just like a bunch of posts from a lot of people from last year.
They've played 2 games....KU teams under HCBS look like this early in the season nearly every year. He'll have them playing right by Christmas.
It's the results at the end of the year that count. We will be there....

Bill Self to visit nation’s top-ranked preps
And pretty much every one of them knows that Calipari will bend over and kiss *^$ to get him to sign.
I prefer the way Coach Self does it. These kids aren't running the show, and he makes sure they know that before they ever get here.

Not this time: KU falls to UK, but not without a fight
This was way more than I hoped for when things started back in November. The team grew so much during the course of the season, especially after the Davidson game.
I don't think it's coincidence that the Davidson game was about the same time that Ben McLemore and Jabari Traylor were eligible to practice with the team. Going against those two guys playing red team had to make the guys better.
The future is bright, as it is every year, for the Jayhawks. And we'll always be right there every year !!
