We're been coming to Dr. Rowland for a few years now and love her amazing knowledge base, honesty and sincerely caring attitude. We always get a follow-up call and their sensitivity to our pet's needs is always A+++. We never feel rushed and are always given all available options for whatever heath matter our pet needs, with an open emphasis on all costs, especially when it gets a bit expensive. All of the veterinarian staff and assistants are also great and friendly, but the front desk and customer service response on the phone can sometimes be somewhat cold and doesn't well reflect the rest of the staff. Not that this really matters, for at the end of the day it's all about our pet, but I think they could do a better job in the outward presentation and customer service side of things. Having said that, we will never leave Wakarusa Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Rowland!!!

Another self-serving developer's project that is wrong on so many levels. Lawrence City Commission = OOC (out of control)

Bear-ly worth celebrating: KU blown out by Baylor but ties for Big 12 crown

I think Withy didn't play defense because he was worried about fouling and thus was ineffective . So Coach should have put in Traylor during the first half, he may have been able to play tougher at that point than Withy. Also, the basketball Gods were shining on Baylor. Hard to beat that.

Bill limiting collective bargaining for Kansas teachers draws fire

I retire in a few years after 25 years. I LOVE my students, but the politics and extra crud is wearing me out. I might have stayed longer, but won't now, especially with the direction our legislature is headed. And I see the young people entering the field and wonder how long they will last. Sad. In the past I have been proud to be a Kansas educator because our schools have had a good reputation , but that may not last.

Big 12: Officiating errors were made at end of regulation in KU-ISU game

We were impacted by the refs too because our 3 seniors had 3 or 4 fouls early in the second half. Iowa State crowd was serious whiners.

Bill Self questions team's toughness, desire following home loss to OSU

I do agree with Grandma's post. Coach Self has had plenty of games early in the season when the bench players such as Traylor and White could have gotten more playing time in order to develop their confidence as in game players. It seemed ridiculous to me that the game was on White's shoulders yesterday when he is rarely given a chance to play. And Traylor could be a tough player were he given the chance to play more as the season developed. Now I think he has no confidence. You can't simulate actual game playing time in practice. This is Self's weakness, wasting players who languish on the bench and it is why recruits don't choose Kansas because it is clear that many wont play here. Remember Russel Robinson.
