Nomadic churches searching for permanent home
Ha! The fire Marshall, yeah right. Maybe services would of never been cancelled at south middle school if the " church" didnt act like they owned the place. They were given an inch and they took about 10 miles. And take they did. Hence they no longer have access to the classrooms. And the stage set that "church" destroyed took the students a lot of time and effort to put up. that's why they were booted from south middle school. Don't drag The fire Marshall down with your actions.

Lawrence man, 31, faces charges in local burglaries
hes from sabetha kansas. he was a kid needing a place to stay in 2001 and my roomate and I needed some rent for an empty bedroom...bad idea. 3 guys showed up to rob him of his drugs and I was the only one home when they came knocking...they also brought a handgun and shot me in the back as i walked away from the apartment. He never even apologized or thanked me for taking his bullet. I can only hope that every episode of OZ that I have seen comes true for this p.o.s. I heard he had a kid or 2, hope they never have to see or hear from him again.

Papa Keno’s remains open as owner files for bankruptcy
I worked at papa kenos for 3 days last year. I walked out because it was unsanitary. My first day the cold well broke and he said he'd get it fixed asap.for the 3 days I was there the food in the cold table went without refrigeration. Don't get me started on the lack of hot water or the flies that live in the floor drains. As far as better pizza goes I'd say gambinos, glory days, and even little ceasers beat kenos anyday. He never did pay me for my 3 days.

How hot is it, exactly?
Here in Colorado Springs its 77 degrees outside and 71 degrees inside. haven't turned on the A/C once this year. I don't miss summer time in eastern Kansas one bit.
Enjoy the swelter over there!
