Young builders piece together Lego scenes for contest
I viewed these creations last night while walking downtown.... They are EXTREMELY creative. These young kids are very bright and super imaginative. I think I spent twenty minutes looking at the creations and reading the cards... definately check them out. I'm eager to see who "wins", as they are all super awesome.

Very true s r j... all I can say is give it a year. and with the crowd that frequents that bar: mostly past lawrence high and free state thugs and the wanna-be gangsters, there'll be shots fired at shots for sure. It really is kinda like a strip club with a "no nudity" clause in the "rules of patronage". Until then let's use the tax dollars right and keep zapping these thugs like flies.

Following police chase in Lawrence, Eudora police arrest woman on DUI charge
How stupid: jumping in your car to "get away" from being caught urinating in public, and possibly getting cited for disorderly conduct, but instead drive your car intoxicated and elude, which are far more severe crimes. I am always amazed at how many people make dumb choices.

Not at all.... being that nicotine is a controlled substance, I always assumed 18 was the "across the board" law for anything containing nicotine (sp)...

Have you ever boated or fished along the Kansas River?
I love taking my kayak, putting in at the Perry Inlet, and boating all the way down river to the Lawrence Riverfront Park. Quite exhausting, but a great workout, and just under 17 miles. Next time I need to make sure and put in a little earlier, as last time I did the last 4 miles by moonlight. Still had a blast!
