Brownback says lieutenant governor will welcome Obama to Kansas
Politically, an interesting move for Brownback. This a sneer - a subtle gesture, a thumbing of the nose. Kansas isn't Obama country (excepting Lawrence and Wyandotte, of course).

Gingrich, Romney pose unpalatable choice
it is imperative that the GOP nominate Jon Huntsman. he is the only one in the field now capable of whipping obama in the debates and at the ballot. if jon huntsman isn't the next POTUS, we're all screwed.

Occupy Lawrence protesters ask city for help finding new campsite
The headline encapsulates the stupidity of the protesters. Cromwell hit the nail on the head (for once). If you can't decide what the heck you're doing as a "movement" , ask the city where you can go to obstruct park-goers, dog-walkers, joggers, and whoever else might want to use the park they're paying taxes to maintain. On the flipside, the local occupy-sleepingbaggers are a detrimental example to the broader "movement" . . .

Whom do you look up to or admire?
Barack H. Obama, because he gives the toilet its paper. He puts the H and O in H20. He is the original father of all of our mothers, and the lover of all earthly woman. He solves all of the world's problems with his ever-sharp wit, without relying on a small army of advisors, assistants, pamperers, and brown-eyed nosers.
My other heroes include all those class warriors that sleep in parks and pretend they are changing the world by doing so. Even though I will never soil myself by joining them, they did a fine job showing how one might do nothin' by doing absolutely nothin'.
