Fix-It Chick: Get low to install a pop-up drain
It should be noted before the reassembly that if the bottom cuplet is inserted with the threads reversed, the installation will still work, but a left-handed wrench will be required to tighten it in place. Otherwise the connection may leak . Not everyone has one of those on hand, but any clerk at the hardware store can be asked to quickly locate one there; they are no more expensive than the right-handed (common) version.

This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week. What steps do you take to prepare for severe weather?
I got tired of the alerts from a weather radio years ago. I'm connected to enough electronics w/o one.
Was the "cull" a crack down or did they leave in protest? I have to say, I do appreciate the fewer posts. (3500 posts per year by one poster is too darn many)

I've never seen any evidence of LJW comments influencing the outcome of anything. The point of disabling comments has nothing to do with Mr. Klock's position as a police officer. It has to do with the pointless and tactless comments that follow after the death of a human being.
