Biography
I lived in Lawrence for over a decade after growing up ten minutes away. My parents introduced to Lawrence, and to my pursuit of the best cheap, spicy food around. As a kid, I got an early start exploring campus, as well -- steam tunnels, pinball, bowling, Day on the Hill, Potter's Lake and the Camponile, amazing libraries, and ever-changing architecture.
Lawrence is a treasure, an oasis, a joyous blue velvet rut in a pesticide-laden sea of red.
Though I now live and work in KC, I do what I can to keep Lawrence a safe and exciting community and, of course, come back often.
How I came to live in Lawrence
Ohio Street! You spend enough time here, you eventually just start paying rent.
Hobbies
I like bikes, finding overlooked nooks and cliffs, and climbing on top of things for a better view. I love maps, places, people, plants, animals, and improvised vegan feasts.
