Do you think it is important for children to learn cursive handwriting in schools? Why?
How are they going to function without electronic crutches if they can't write cursive?

High-speed chase ends with crash
Given the dangerousness of high speed chases, I think Lawrence needs to outlaw and/or more tightly regulate their use, as do other cities. This was not a good enough reason to endanger lives by engaging in a chase, in my opinion.

Kansas train-related fatality rate stubbornly steady
Well, if the fatality rate in Kansas is higher than other states, obviously Kansas is doing something wrong. What are the other states doing that we are not? The answer to the problem is there.
