Lawrence artist miffed after Topeka restaurant removes Brownback painting

You would think that either the artist or those so upset with the removal would rent/buy a property and exhibit it. They are bashing a property owner for his decision but then they aren't willing to invest the time and money required to own and manage a property along with operating a business. They have no right to make decisions about property they have nothing invested in.

wherever a private property owner . Vertigo I agree with that statement. And the property owner in this case doesn't choose to have it displayed on his property. It is no different than a owner of a rental property not allowing pets.
All these comments by the LIberals have me confused. I seen them state many times that the Liberals care more about others and have more compassion than conservatives. But in this case they seem perfectly content to ridicule, make fun of and show all disregard for Brownback's daughter. Guess they only care when it involves something they believe in and something that may benefit them. Like Obamacare.
Loewenstein stated he would do one of anyone who was doing harm to KS. Where are those about Obama and K. Sibelius? They have both done more harm to KS and our nation than Brownback ever will. At least Brownback brought us back from the financial cliff where KS and Parkinson led us. I agree it is right to paint what he want. Likewise it is a property owner's right to restrict what is exhibited on his property. Another example of a Liberal. Wants rights when it benefits them but then wants to restrict those rights when it doesn't.

Brownback says Republican voters made 'clear statement' in support of conservatives during primary

I know for a fact I received 3 to 1 mailers and robo calls supporting Morris that I did Mr Powell. I received 3-4 mailers total supporting Mr Powell and two phone calls from a live person. I was throwing more of the mailers supporting Mr Morris away last eve. I would say I received 12-15 not to mention 5-6 robo calls but not one live human to answer questions and talk about issues and his goals. Mr Morris lost not because he was a moderate but because he was unresponsive and if you didn't have the correct last name, a large supporter who had bought him off or a large union he wouldn't answer emails or phone calls from you. As one Democrat told me several years ago he made an agreement with the Dem party that in return for his votes on major bills they wouldn't back a candidate to run against him. It had to be a Republican that finally kicked him out. Now I'm hearing he is talking about a write in. I'm not sure if that is rumor or has feet yet. Then when he formed a PAC in conjunction with the unions that showed many voters his true leanings. In my opinion he should register as a Democrat. I have many close friends who are. But they register that way. They don't register as a Repub just for political gain. Be proud of what you are.

Nice you posted a picture that describes Obama and his administration. Although I feel the dog has more common sense and could do a better job than Obama and his crew. Oh their intent was to destroy the USA as we knew it. Guess they are being successful.

Romney's VP pick Ryan has Kansas connection via Brownback

If that happens it will cement the start of the end of the USA as we all know it.

Although I'm an independent but it was evident to an unbiased outsider they voted out those who were Liberals with an R behind their name. Just look at Mr Morris's record. He voted Liberal/Democrat over 90% of the time. He has never farmed. His farm did/does. His spend and tax policies along with those of many others over years when the economy was good doesn't work during a depression/recession. I don't agree with all of the changes that have been made but unless we wanted KS to be like CA there was no choice but to vote out those who refused to acknowledge the problem. They had been their too long and sometimes it is hard for an old dog to change his ways. They refused to make needed compromises. My concern now is there may not be enough restraint and there will be an over correction before we find a fiscal conservative approach that will work in the long term. I just hope we don't create a yo-yo affair by switching back and forth.

The conservatives have tried to pass remedial steps. Obama and the Liberal Senate have refused to compromise. Obama and the Dems had control for 2 years. All they succeeded in doing was passing a huge stimulus bill that was a monumental failure and a health care bill that they didn't even know what was in it. That exempted their buds like Wal Mart from having to participate and is a huge windfall for the insurance companies. He bought support to get it passed even from legislators like the one from NE. Obama is the poster child for hypocrisy. I wouldn't even mention that word in his or the Liberals defense.

#1JHakwer,
I agree with your post. I just read a political comic where Obama states he is going to protect the people of the USA from evil vampire capitalists like Mitt Romney then in the next caption caption it shows him in front of a bunch of Wall Street backers and he states present company excluded. That is the same way he is on accepting huge campaign donations from big corporations and foreign sources. He hides them and then calls for Romney to show transparency. I hope Ryan attacks the lies head on and doesn't play soft shoe like Romney has.

Kansas Democrats unveil jobs, gambling proposal

I agree. Being that the welfare rolls continue to increase cut the budget. Sounds like a good idea. Don't imagine the Libs and RHINO's would agree though.
