Letter: Second letter?
Sue, I just discovered your letter in Thursday's ljw, as I was wrapping the garbage (just kidding). Good job! Maybe if we keep it up, we can persuade Kansans that S.B. is not fit to govern, let alone preside, as he so ardently desires.
Anytime I see the words 'tax,' 'flatter,' and 'fairer' in the same sentence, I know that the perpetrator is a) stupid, b) misled, and/or flat-out lying. As for 'simpler,' 5th-grade math is sufficient to calculate taxes (and the IRS will do it for you, if you can't), once you've navigated the maze of loopholes that makes a PhD insufficient.
