Wrong cuts

My friend, I only quoted a verse from the Word of God. If you have any quarrels it is not with me, it is with the author.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (NIV)

"For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. "

Cable agreement postponed 1 week

A bit off topic, but related conversation. I live in a rural area and I have satellite TV. At the present time I am having a few problems with the signal and some error messages on my screen. When I called I was informed that I have to pay a $45 service charge in order to get someone from the satellite company to come to the house for repair. Or, I can subscribe to their warranty service for $9 something per month ($100+ per year) and there will be no service charge. It is leased equipment... I've been a customer for 14 years... quite disturbing...

Americans should learn more languages

The US education system, when compared to 24 other nations, is in 18th place at the moment. Lets focus on (English) literacy, math and science first. I think the basics of education are more important than being able to order your favorite wine when you get to Paris.
