Couple devastated after vandals destroy tree memorializing son

This story makes me sick to my stomach. Not only are Ted and Colleen the nicest people you could ever have the chance of knowing, they raised some great kids too. Ryan is truly missed and it was a blessing to know him for part of his short 17 years. I'm sorry that people are cowards and have to be disrespectful and hurtful, but we all know that Ryan's spirit can overpower some punks. I can only hope that guilt catches up with them and Colleen doesn't.

Shame on me? Seriously? How come your opinion of them overrules mine? I don't think they had a good marriage. But I also don't think she handled getting out of it the best way either, and if you do know them like I know them, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. And if you don't, then you obviously don't know them that well. I wouldn't think he's capable of something like this, but I'm also not saying he didn't do it. I'm saying I'd have a hard time believing 90% of what comes out of her mouth as true. I'm entitled to that as much as you're entitled to say differently. I wasn't friends with either one of them any more than the other. I know them both equally and think they're both a tad spiteful.

I'm not saying she deserves it, I'm just not sure I believe her. I know both of them and they do need to get divorced, but neither of them are perfect.

If I have to chose between a walmart, dillons, or hyvee for groceries, I'm going to walmart. Its amazing how much CHEAPER walmart groceries are compared to the other two places.

Victim, attorney ask that former teacher be spared prison

I know 10+ years ago when I went to PLHS there was a teacher (much older woman) having a "relationship" with a boy in my class. This isn't new people are just now starting to do something about it.
