Legalized drugs may do less harm

There is no way you guys are actually reading my post. It must feel good to waste energy in this fashion. If you want to do something productive, put yourself out there with youtube, article sites, or mpp.org norml.com or leap.cc and donate to help them.

T commitment

I'm happy to see that most of the people on this site agree that transportation tax is a bad idea. I don't abhor the idea of mass transit, I just think that the 'T' could be re-engineered to work much more efficiently. Drivers on the 'T' have passed by me several times when I was at a stop, if you miss the 'T', you have to wait half an hour (maybe more), they rarely run on schedule, and to get across town you typically have to ride for up to 45 minutes and change buses twice! I think that different routes, smaller vehicles, and more conscientious drivers are the key here, not a higher tax. Also, in regards to the roads, hows about Lawrence make roads right the first time, so they don't have to keep repaving them. Check some of the commission meetings minutes and you'll see that they specifically choose to save money by making cheap roads.
