Lawrence police officer arrested for DUI
Food for thought has it right. If the Trooper obtained a blood or urine sample for analysis, the sample has to be sent to the KBI lab in Topeka for testing. Rumor has it the lead time on a blood sample is 8-12 weeks. The DA will not initiate any action in the district court until the results of the test are known.

Should cameras be allowed in federal courthouses?
Our right to a speedy PUBLIC trial is guaranteed by the 6th Amendment. If and how the proceedings are made public should be left to the defendant, not a judge. If he/she chooses to waive that right, then no cameras in the courtroom.
