I guess I'm confused on your comment, "now I am forced to take time off of work to pay them". No, if the article is read properly, you can do it online or via mail, just like in the past. If it takes excessive amounts of time to walk to your mailbox, maybe you should reconsider where the mailbox is located on your property.

Have you been vaccinated for whooping cough?

Ok, the real question should be, "Have you been vaccinated for whooping cough in the last 10 years?" As an adult, it makes absolutely no difference if you were immunized as a baby, and not had a boost since.

Do you agree with Gov. Sam Brownback that the criticism of the so-called "pink slime" meat product is misinformed?

I don't like to see an ingredients list on the beef I purchase. If it's not 100% pure beef, I don't buy it. This is why I purchase half a cow at a time from a farmer I know and trust.

Stipends for student-athletes? KU has mixed feelings

My kids spend more than $3-4K out of pocket to attend school as well. It's a choice, and the athletes do not have to accept the scholarship to attend school. I don't feel sorry for them one bit. Earn your way just like every other student does. They've chosen athletics, someone else chooses a different venue. So what. It's called free will and it's up to them.

Jayhawks must embrace ugliness

What a whiner! Why dog another team just because your team isn't playing well? Wow...KU fan entitlement attitude will never stop in this stupid town!

Name recognition: Jayhawks get big name — Charlie Weis

And except for ND, he's not stayed anywhere longer than 2-3 years, since the early '90's. Good luck guys, but don't hold your breath.
