Lawrence residents say goodbye to popular downtown breakfast spot
I won't miss it. Although nice to some, the attitude was definitely there. One bad habit was when you came in, by yourself, with two or three people, the wait staff would always say just one. Just should be eliminated. It is a negative alienating term which indicates that the staff doesn't care about you. It should never be used. When you smiled at the owner, he would often turn away, if you had a question, he wouldn't answer. The attitude was definitely there.
I miss Paradise which was a 100 times better, foodwise and atmosphere. At least no running uncooked whites with the eggs. Everyone was welcomed, regulars and new customers.
