Is downtown's nightlife a boon or headache?

PS Marion, if you are going pretend to lecture me about picking up crayons and going back to the classroom, you might want to spell classroom right. Just a thought.

Actually I did post comments earlier. I am responding to you hogging the entire board with nonsense about cops wearing Spandex and you saving two of them from dying. And last I checked 25 isn't a small child.

formerlyKS: Well said as well, I like your style. Does this Marion person have brain damage or is this a good day?

This is ridiculous. Lawrence residents want all of the benefits of living in a college town without any of the drawbacks. It makes me sick how some Lawrence residents believe this utopia will exist if only all of the "outsiders" would leave. We want your money during the day when you shop and eat, but then we want you to go back where you came from. The big plus to come out of Abe and Jake's owner saying Topeka residents aren't welcome is that maybe our downtown will come back since a lot of us will be boycotting Lawrence.

Are you sad to hear that Quin Snyder has resigned?

You got robbed Larry. My favorite comment of yours was in Manhattan, when you said to a student "I thought all the hot girls where in Lawrence."

Only in Lawrence would people try to talk about local politics on a basketball story. Kind of like when KU was in the National Championship game and hippies were protesting the war. I said you know KU is playing today and they looked at me with their bloodshot eyes and started the hippie butterfly dance.

It's safe to come out of the closet now, Quin. Your wife left you and your unemployed.

1 killed, 1 injured in shooting outside downtown nightclub

Wouldn't you shoot if you were forced to go to a Kenny G concert?
