Jayhawks and zombies make for an ever-so-Lawrence homecoming parade

Well, I guess someone, somewhere, had to welcome them. Hell rejected their applications and sent them the only place worse.

Kansas delegation holds position of making government funding contingent on delaying Obamacare

You know, the R's might seriously consider trading an assault weapons ban (however, that term may ultimately be defined, twisted and/or misconstrued) in exchange for terminating the ACA. Weapons manufacturers would just create other weapons to sell that would comply with the ban; at least in name.

I fully expect the R's to find some way to "save face" so they can back down in a few days and claim they did it to prevent the D's from wreaking havoc and doing irreperable harm to the great American Way/Dream/Economy/Way of Life.....

Act II will commence when the debt ceiling "discussions" begin.

So you support obstructionism and shutting down the government because you lost an election, had legislation you disagree with passed by Congress and then upheld by the SC. You also support the dissemination of half-truths, distortions and outright lies. Got it.

At least you own it.

Kansas premiums lower than expected under new health insurance marketplaces, report says

Yes, but your suggested interpretation would make absolutely no sense. The employee is already getting back the premium $$ the employee otherwise would have paid. The employee will still have to use those same dollars to go purchase coverage elsewhere so there is no raise inherent in that approach. The *only* way a raise could be involved is if the employee also obtained the matching funds otherwise paid by the employer on their behalf and were then able to secure comparable coverage at a lower premium point.

You can characterize/manipulate facts however YOU choose, but one cannot characterize Breitbart's views as "balanced" even with the most generous retrospective. The opinions found there are completely biased and as unbalanced as a load of wet tennis shoes on spin cycle.
