Opinion: Government should govern

In the state of Kansas, if you own a car that you are driving, than you ARE required to have at least liability insurance on it. If you don't and are found out, you get fined.

Obamacare is not entitlement. You aren't paying for anyone else's insurance any more than you already are now. And in the state of kansas, you are required to have at least liability coverage insurance on your car.

How is it any different than car insurance? If you own a car, you are required to have insurance and will be fined if you don't. I see no difference in the two.

State moving ahead on science standards

Why? The character he/she was referring to is perfect for this situation. The character embodies the very nature of the tea-party republicans. I thought it was quite appropriate and enjoyed the reference.

Iwig Family Dairy seeking $650,000 in donations to stave off liquidation

Your comment presumes alot. I live in West Lawrence, work in West Lawrence, and only go to Mass when needed. I dislike the traffic congestion and do not shop at Iwig's for the same reason. I only have so many free hours in my day and choose where to shop mostly on convenience. My time is worth more, at least to me. If I'm in the area, I will stop and pick up their milk, but I do not make an extra 20 min. drive for only that reason. And by the way, I like west Lawrence...it's very pretty and has lots of biking/hiking trails for me and my dogs.

Why do you think it rained from underground springs? There is nothing in the bible that states so, and science knows that statement to be ridiculous.

Letter: Preference for Putin?

Sorry, I meant the Navy Yard guy was buddhist. Wrong act of terrorism.
