Live from Mass Street: J-W staffers search for deals

This year's sidewalk sale was a blast! This is first time I've gotten up before sunrise and got loads of deals. Also, the new guy atop the Sunflower chair was really entertaining. I stuck around and flipped through things just to listen to his comedy.

Thank you LJWorld for this year's coverage of the Sidewalk Sale! I followed your tips, was glad to have the list of early store openings and enjoyed this challenge very much. I'd like to see it all again next year. :)

Town Talk: Even nice old ladies ready to fight about trash carts; downtown spot to discontinue Sunday brunch; Occupy Wall Street appears to be coming to Mass. Street

Under this category, is the City going to research the recycling process clear through to the end or is our recycling going to actually wind up in a dump somewhere?

I like my local guy and he has toured Deffenbaugh's facility. It didn't meet his standards or he would have sold them his business.
