We live southwest of the fire, behind CC. Wondering if this didn't have anything to do with the power surge/ outage at just after 10 am?

Stuffing the Stocking
Thanks for sharing. However, we've always stuffed the stocking with new dental essentials, school supplies, and fun socks. A stocking is not a stocking without a sock, right!?

Toys for Tots sets up county collection points
I am a volunteer for Toys for Tots and there are many events going on in which the public may participate in. Noise for Toys is by far our final event! On Saturday December 10th and Wednesday the 21st, Applebee's (Monterey) will host a profit share. Tell them you wish to support Toys for Tots and a portion of your check benefits the Douglas County Toys for Tots. Saturday the 10th Lawrence Dart Association is hosting a benefit. Mondays in December at Dunn Bros between 12-5, bring in a $10+ toy and receive a free coffee or latte. And, Basic Carpet Care offers a discount with a donated toy through the 14th. We are always in need of donations. You may donate right up to the 23rd of December. Feel free to bring your donation to the Toy Shop in West Gate Center Plaza, next to Quizno's; behind Peoples Bank (6th & Wakarusa).
