Free State High School removes barrier to students with disability being part of homecoming court
Wow, you had to be petitioned not to discriminate, way to go Freestate! Was it just your natural instinct to discriminate against the disabled? You disgust me. I hope the SME Lancers rain on your homecoming parade.
Did the administration really think it was ok to deny poor Owen the chance to be the king? Nobody besides the students thought that was a little weird? Again you disgust me.

Festy Fest going on without permit from Leavenworth County
Festy Fest went very well this year, in my opinion, despite several media outlets' attempt to prevent it from happening.
The organizers should probably sue the newspapers and websites that claimed the event was cancelled, because they no doubt prevented some people from attending and hurt their chance of turning a profit.

A Lawrence radio station switched its format from rock to country music on Thursday. Which music do you prefer, country or rock?
I think a new country station will be good for Lawrence. We have a very active bluegrass scene, which hopefully the Bull will support.
