New state law removes cities' ability to set their own fines for seat belt violations
Got it. We fat men hate belts of all types.

Two KUPD officers sustain minor injuries in altercation near Summerfield Hall
It's 3 on 1 we need backup. This old homeless man is beating 3 of KU's finest.

New state law removes cities' ability to set their own fines for seat belt violations
Paid my first 5 dollar ticket a few weeks ago. Now it will cost me 10 dollars to be comfortable while driving. It is getting tough to keep up with inflation on basic necessities.

U.S. Senate committee stalls vote on former Kansas AG Steve Six's nomination to federal appeals court
Well the issue is "federalized" if you mean constitutionally protected, even after the right stacked the court. Now you blame a state judge who is bound by a higher court for following the law.

Wasteful Education
So what you are really saying is that we as Kansas should petition NY to make a modest 10% cutback to the education of their students despite the fact that it is of no consequence to us. Just admit it was a silly post and the mocking will cease.

Wasteful Education
Good idea liberty_one. I hear there is going to be a real shortage of ditch diggers and burger flippers in the new economy. Instead of giving the kids money why not just send them out as child laborers and let the state start getting some use out of these younguns before they get old and sick and require healthcare that also costs a ton and no one wants to provide. A gentleman and a scholar you are kind sir.

KDOT commits $192 million to complete South Lawrence Trafficway
It is absolutely foolish unless they expand the entire road to four lanes. Who wants to pay to drive on a two lane highway with an average speed of 50 miles per hour because there is nowhere to pass and a dead body every couple of months.
