House kills Senate redistricting plan

Why should ANY candidate's residence (Republican or Democrat) be considered in drawing up district maps. The district should be based on objective criteria of population and demographics without any regard of which politician lives where. This kind of partisan BS smells worse than the feedlots.

This law is going to court.
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

If you don't want YOUR private property to be used in a way that doesn't fit your religious beliefs, then don't offer your private property for rent. Once you offer housing for rent, you are required to not discriminate.

Kansas Chamber of Commerce is not pro-business and not pro-Kansas. It is pro-Koch. Check with your local chamber of commerce to see if they are part of KCC and if they are - ask that they dis-affiliate.
