World Company hires V.P. of sales, marketing

I love how some of these people read the entire story and then complain that nobody cares about this sort of thing. If they really didn't care, why would they take the time to read it and then comment? Strange.
Anyway, I love reading this sort of stuff because it helps me understand the culture of the people who are putting out this news every day.
Welcome back to Kansas, Susan.

Theatre Lawrence asks city for $100K

Do you use a Mac or PC and why?

Mac. If they weren't so expensive, Mac market share would swap positions with PCs. They are far superior in every way.

Statehouse Live: Environmentalists seek to block western Kansas coal-burning plant

I'd prefer Kansas pursue another nuclear plant. Reliable power. Clean energy. Lots of high-paying jobs. No risk of tsunamis or earthquakes here on the Plains.

All eyes on Texas: Longhorn Network hot topic on Day 1 of Big 12 media days

And people used to say they preferred college football to the NFL because of the purity of the game. Uh, I think college football looks more greedy than the NFL after crap like this.

KU names Fred Rodriguez as new vice provost for diversity

With the exception being KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little. She was obviously the highest qualified prospect available and has done amazing, amazing things for the university during her tenure here...
