Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

I, too, would use my "real" identity if required by LJW--and if done as part of their registration process on their site. However, I have not, past, present, or future, been a Facebook user, and object to the comments being limited to only those who are.

City balks at plan to allow motorists to use credit cards for new downtown parking garage

The rate is $1.75 for the first hour, to compensate for the extra cost of the credit card fees. After the first hour, the fee is $1.50 per hour, and as abcd123 noted above, you are charged the hourly rate for one minute or 60.

Undercover task force cites 17 businesses for selling alcohol to minors

While some stores post a sign, "We sold a winning lottery ticket," perhaps there should be a sign these 17 could post, "We got caught selling alcohol to an underage customer."

What is the best tattoo you have seen on a person?

I recently saw one that prompted me to ask the person a question. In a small script on a gal's wrist were the words, "Believers Never Die." I thought it might mean that believers in Jesus never die. ;-) She explained it was a band name. A band name to her, a promise to me! :-)

Turning the tide: As traditional churches see interest wane, upstarts draw in young people

"Jenkins demonstrated his unorthodox style on March 3 when he challenged the married couples of his congregation to have sex with their spouse once a day for seven consecutive days. He called it the 'sexperiment challenge.'"

Is he willing to challenge the unmarried couples to refrain from sexual activity (secondary virginity) until marriage?

Do you have any upcycled or repurposed items?

I repurpose money that other people lose or leave behind by donating that money to charity.

Sound Off: When is the first KU basketball game?

I had the same reaction. (See my longer reply above.) I have sent LJW an e-mail suggesting a correction, or at least a clarification.

I'll be there Sunday!
