Election officials told not to release names of provisional ballot voters

This article doesn't mention that Corbet also requested the names. There is also no mention of Kobach establishing a PAC in support of Corbet. I hope the provisional ballets are settled quickly so we can get the election behind us.

Unemployment dips below 8%

I don't know anything about unemployment numbers, other than both parties manipulate the numbers to the own purposes.

I do know the Congressional Budget Office is non-partisan and the numbers Liberty_one sites are accurate. Not everything in the forecast will necessarily come true but it is the direction we are heading with total spending. As an example, there could be many (think thousands) of elderly people pass away earlier than normal life expectancy, which would decrease anticipated expenditures in both medicare and social security. Those programs are not sufficiently funded for the promised benefits.

Conservatives appear to be taking control of state Senate

I think you are right. My wife is registered R, I saw no need for duplicate mailings from the party. We both vote who we think the best candidate is regardless of party but we lean moderate republican. I can change it sometime in the future. It really only matters during primaries.

Conservatives appear to be taking control of state Senate

They recorded the change on the roster of eligible voters and had me sign that. I don't know if that is the right "procedure" but there was not a separate registration to fill out.

Conservatives appear to be taking control of state Senate

I'm a registered independent who voted the republican ballot yesterday. My vote wasn't left off the table.

Kobach fears new maps will cause Kansas voter confusion

Kobach thinks the new maps will confuse voters. He obviously does not think Ks voters are very intelligent. Given the recent voting record; Brownback, Kobach, Jenkins, it is hard to argue with him.

You can opt out of direct mailings and many other things. Here is a link;
