Thank you for an intelligent and rational response to a clueless rant. Glad there is some common sense here. These young guys would be crazy to throw away a once-in-a-lifetime chance. As you say, he can finish his education post NBA.

What a bunch of negative nancys! It was a funny and unexpected email that many in my department enjoyed.

Usually at work it's all business as usual--as it should be, but not very engaging. It was fun to get an amusing email from an office that usually issues only necessary and humorless messages. I suspect it was a collaboration among office staff.

I was thinking the same thing. For all we know, a deer may have run across the road, the driver may have suffered a medical emergency, or any of a number of other factors may have been involved. People are so quick to make unfounded assumptions!

Funny you should say that. Some guy in Pennsylvania is suing Punxsutawney Phil for "willfully and maliciously" misleading all of us (or words to that effect). Of course, this is all tongue-in-cheek, but I thought it amusing that it made the national news.
