Salina man's plan to arrest Obama goes nowhere after Secret Service visit

However, at the time of Barack Hussein Obama II's birth, Kenya was no longer part of the British Empire; it was already on it's own.

It should be clear to anyone with half a brain that the President does indeed have American citizenship and he has had it since birth, seeing how he was born on soil under the jurisdiction of the United States.

FWIW, I don't believe that the Brownback thinks this was wrong. He thought he better get out in front of it before it dominates the news cycle for an entire week.

I for one am not convinced that he has discontinued the practice of monitoring social media and developing action items that target specific individuals for things that are said about him in said media.

Team player: Dad starts free soccer practice for toddlers

Clearly you don't understand what this is about then. Trust me, there's not much "structure" to these things. There's more structure in going to the bathroom.

1) Show up if you want to.
2) Kick a ball around if you want to.
3) Mimic what the coach is doing, if you want to.
4) Go home if you want to.

If you are so concerned with the how other people raise their children, maybe you should come and see a "practice" before leveling uninformed and unwarranted criticism.

Of if you'd rather continue the conversation, what would you recommend instead?

Vehicle crashes into house on Sixth Street, one transported to hospital

And of course, as soon as I start writing , the page gets updated. At least my theory was vindicated.

Vehicle crashes into house on Sixth Street, one transported to hospital

I saw this wreck as the tow truck was pulling up. The front half of the truck was practically sitting on the elevated front porch. It appeared that the awning over the porch had partially collapsed, as there were fresh studs propping it up.

More interestingly, the house is on the north side of the street, yet the truck was facing east. If it was going eastbound on 6th, it would have had to have crossed all westbound lanes as well as a good 40 feet or so of front yard. Otherwise, I can't imagine how it could have gotten in the position it was in.

Town Talk: Large Lawrence employer sold to General Dynamics defense firm; condo development to be sold by sheriff on Thursday; an odd ending for police and fire negotiations

If I remember correctly, the sign out front stays that the condos "start" in the 350s. I could be slightly off though.

The price on those condos is going to have to come WAY down if they expect to sell any of them. There are just way too many houses on the market at very cheap prices. There are even neighborhoods where the landscaping is taken care of for you.

If they could get it down around 250K, then they could fill them up pretty quickly.
