Kansas proposal would allow concealed carry with no permit

I am all for anyone who passes the background check and takes a course in firearm safety. Also, should understand the laws concerning the lawful use of a firearm.

I would say keep the background check and required courses, but remove the periodic renewal and cost of a license.

I know it is hard for many to understand, most have never really used a weapon. Put a point I heard once is very true, if everyone was allowed to carry a weapon on 9/11, those planes would never have been taken over. Another example is how all the carjackings almost came to a halt when concealed carry started. Also, the crooks will have guns regardless, the reason they rob and kill is that they ignore the laws! Making laws limited guns only affects law abiding citizens- not the Kwik shop robber.

Should people be required to show identification when voting?

Of course there is no reason not to have an ID, well unless you are trying to commit fraud.

Do you ever question the advice of your doctor?

The smart thing to do is question your doctor, but do it in a civil manner. They are only people and make mistakes just as any profession. There are always options and it's okay to ask what they are or ask to get a second opinion. A good doctor will not be upset when asking these questions, a poor doctor will not like being question and that is a sign to find another doctor
