'Jam for Hamm' benefit concert to help pay Lawrence guitarist's medical bills

Mike is a great guy, everyone in my house knows him. He was one of my kids guitar teacher and a Rock Camp coach for the other. In fact a band members from a band he coached this year is in my basement studio right now practicing for the Jam for Hamm. Kids in bands he taught will be playing at Lucia. Everyone wishes Mike a speedy recovery.

http://www2.ljworld.com/users/photos/... I'm glad no one was hurt family or firefighters. The fire was pretty intense early on. Lucky the Lawrence fire department got here quickly after the Lawrence police arrived.

I have no idea where you get your information but that is just not correct, We are not absolutely certain. I will change my mind if you give me some credible evidence. I do think it's highly unlikely though. You can't prove a negative so it's up to someone to prove there is. So far that has not happened. Also, you can't hate something that isn't there.

Sadly, it was their belief in god that that caused them so much pain early on. Driving them to the point of considering and attempting suicide. Being brainwashed at an early age is a sad thing. I was in the audience last night both Stephanie and Jay were excellent speakers. I'm glad I went.

Students who violated LHS policies in derogatory messages will be 'held accountable' — how, exactly, remains unclear

Incorrect Scott, similar to the change in 1973 when they removed homosexuality as a mental disorder in the DSM, Gender Disphoria has also been removed in DSM 5.

LHS transgender students face backlash after protest, say 'this isn't the end' for their advocacy

Gender Disphoria is not considered a "disorder" Similar to when the DSM took "homosexuality" off the list as a "Disorder" in 73' it was removed in the DSM-5. Also, the drugs for hormone therapy are very inexpensive. I think you have your tin foil hat on too tight.

"So we should embrace multiple types of gender identities " In a word yes. As the parent of a transgender child it's frankly people like you that concern me more than anything. Transgender people know who they are. Quite Bluntly, I think it's you that is confused. Please educate yourself before making broad statements. People with Gender Diaspora do get counseling, in fact doctors will not treat them in any capacity until they do. Please try and understand things before paint someone as "not right in the head" : https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-f...
