Gay-rights advocates observe Supreme Court proceedings with excitement, anxiety

Feel free to not take me seriously then ~ lord knows we never hear nicknames EVER applied to our president or others. Oh, and the nickname rings true, as Rush's history shows. Too bad he and his listeners cannot recognize the disconnect between the illegality of his habits ~ and lack of respect for the nation's drug laws ~ and the conservative party line he's been known to represent.

I see even The Druggie admits the inevitability of marriage equality, and O'Reilly confesses that his position is "evolving". Even Republican pundits realize that uness their party quits embracing bigotry as a plank in their platform, they'll soon be toast in the years to come.

House Appropriations Committee whittles down Brownback's budget plan on higher education by $16 million

Reviewing your recent comments, Can't, the only insane hatred I see here comes from you. And yet we've no evidence you work at all, let alone "hard".

You must be a joy around Xmas, cheering your hero Ole Man Potter on against that slacker George Bailey.

Poll shows low approval rate for Brownback

Sam should be the first to surrender his "freebies." And maybe it's time YOU went back to work ~ unless supplicance and fealty to your overlords IS your job.
Just because you can post drivel on the internet, doesn't mean you should.

Poll shows low approval rate for Brownback

Sam has taken more welfare than a whole block of typical folks ~ in the name of subsidies for his evidently poorly-managed family farm. Why do you accept this kind of mooching? You must embrace dependency from the top down.

Revenue Secretary Jordan says Brownback cares about the poor

His efforts would mean more if he reimbursed the taxpayers ~ or donated to charity ~ the hundreds of thousands of dollars he and his family have mooched from hard-working taxpayers to keep his poor little family farm afloat. I guess he's not a very good businessman, in addition to having a quite warped view of the meaning of charity.

Letter: Respect not automatic

He'll get a bit more respect when he reimburses the taxpayers for all the farm subsidies he's mooched over the years. He wanted people to pay for his lifestyle, evidently.

Details emerge about agreements between Fritzel entity and KU on Rock Chalk Park project

Since this appears to be a done deal, I think it would be reasonable for the city to now adopt a policy that Fritzel must step aside from consideration from future development partnerships with the city and major projects in town. He's benefitted enough from preferential treatment so far ~ let other entities have an opportunity for a change. Same with Compton.

And kudos to Mr. Amyx for having the gumption to stand against this project.

Agreements indicate multiple ways for Fritzel entities to profit from Rock Chalk Park project

You can take "going to get" out of that sentense and it still reads true.

Thanks. Best to you.
I just think priorities are out of whack with this project. Fixing infrastructure first makes more sense in these tight times.
We can agree to disagree.
