Faith Forum: Why does the Bible talk about Jesus as shepherd and followers as sheep?
"Jesus is the Shepherd and the Lamb both!"
Alpha. Omega. The Beginning and the End. Without which the religion wouldn't have been created in the first place.
The first follower of any religion is going to be the creator.
So, yes. He was the shepherd and the lamb.

Faith Forum: Why does the Bible talk about Jesus as shepherd and followers as sheep?
"Jesus is not religion."
You are right. Jesus isn't a religion... Christianity is. Jesus was just the first shepherd of the christian flock.

Faith Forum: Why does the Bible talk about Jesus as shepherd and followers as sheep?
Shepherd and sheep. That's true of every religion on the planet.
In order for the religion to function it needs shepherds (priest) and sheep (followers). The more shepherds and sheep, the more successful the religion.

Rent Control is Theft
"The adverse social consequences it produces — including reduced apartment construction, deteriorating housing, shortages, increased discrimination and landlord-tenant hostility — are among the most universally accepted propositions among economists. And they exist because rent control is theft. "
Discrimination, Deteriorating housing, and Landlord-tenant hostility, exist independent of rent control.
In fact, Discrimination usually is the cause of Deteriorating housing, and Landlord-tenant hostility.
A racist landlord is usually not inclined to give proper maintenance to a minority tenant's apartment. Which usually leads to Landlord-tenant hostility as the tenant is usually forced to take legal action, against the landlord, over trivial matters.
People voting on the rent control issue might have something like that in mind when voting for or against.
