Laundering money is really hard. The banks will flag any suspicious activity, such as a 4 booth tanning salon raking in $36K a month. Anyone at the bank who saw that would point it out to a supervisor.

In many vehicles, putting the key in the off position locks the steering wheel. Some people from Kansas were killed on Pike's Peak some years back when their brakes began to fail and the inexperienced driver tried to stop the car by turning off the engine. No one survived.
