Wetlands advocates look for new ways to stop construction of South Lawrence Trafficway as legal battle ends
Once I heard a long time ago, that people of Lawrence do not want to become like Olathe Kansas. Has the people of Lawrence change their minds now?

I wonder if 192 millions dollars can fix all the pot holes in Lawrence and make bike lanes for the bike riders and add more sidewalks to certain areas of town. Or maybe add more teachers to the schools, where the class sizes won't be so big or help the homeless get off the streets downtown for good.

I've got a great solutions about the east traffic. What if the people that work in KC should live in KC. and the people that drive from KC to work in Lawrence should find a job in KC. Man, that will cut the traffic way, way, way down. But of course game day traffic is always welcome!!!

Haskell’s athletic programs put on probation through 2014
This is no different from any other University in the U.S. that cheated for sport athletes. We all seen True movies about this. Nothing have to do with being a Native American or Native school.

Haskell Indian Nation University Students Suffer Again.
bobandmywife, It is funny that you are concern about the students now. Your response is Always Close Haskell down. if anything is said about HINU in J-world. And complain about Your tax dollars going to HINU. You make it sound like 50% or more of Your Tax dollars goes to HINU. Really only about 1 to 2 cents of Your Tax dollars go HINU or even less then that. Either you live close to HINU campus or just had a bad encounter with a Native American Indian in your life. All don't worry about the NDN kids at Haskell, they lived in harder conditions on the reservations.

Protesters interrupt Kobach's defense of Alabama immigration law
Why are the people not protesting against the business that hires the immigrants. They are just as or even more guilty to hire immigrants. I don't see any protest or a state represenitive making a law about hiring illegal immigrants and going after the business owners about this. The business owners are the criminals also for not giving any type of insurance or doing background checks. Anything for the mighty dollar.

Protesters interrupt Kobach's defense of Alabama immigration law
Well America is built by immigrants that came from other countrys that worked for next to nothing. If your not a Native American Inidan or Mexican that belong to this country First, just don't understand why people complain about immigrants taking over jobs that Americans are lazy to do. They want more money less work. Your great great grandparents would take you over their knee and give you all a good lashing for not taking any job, no matter what the pay is.
