Lynn, I agree with you. I have been an NRA member since I was 10 and have beem in law enforcement for over15 years. The letter writer is incorrect in the assumption that the NRA only represents the firearms industry. They represent most of the 300 million or so that own firearms legally and stay within the law.

arch, you have no idea of what you are speaking of. If you purchase any firearm via the internet it is shipped to a licensed dealer that does the needed background check before you pick up your firearm. Every gun show I have ever been to required that the person that bought the firearm, had an ATF Instant Check conducted.
