Brownback proposes using bioscience funds to pay for adult stem cell center at KU
verity; when it comes to browback, a very large proportion of the population is silent. Maybe that is the problem, Kansans should start demanding that brownback be removed, sequestered, or what ever they do to people that have no business holding dog catcher let alone Governor. That man is totally inept! Why is he still in office?

Attorney general seeks $1.2 million to defend new laws
Brownback is providing jobs alright, for the attorneys. They knew this was coming, and I hope the state looses their you know what! I just want Brownback and the republican party to rein-verse the state! It is money wasted that we the people of Kansas should NOT have come out of our pockets!

Tax cuts will reduce state revenue more than Great Recession
I agree, why in the heck haven't we at least started the process of kicking him out?

Big revenue decrease projected for fiscal year starting July 1
I think the next few years are going to be great! For years, I have been saying the far right's goal is to destroy the values, balance and the very fabric that makes Kansas a great state to live in. The republicans have had a free hand the last few years, and the next time when I can afford to go to therapy, those old racist farmers complain how much they hate Obama and the liberals and they wish we would all die (this really happened, several times), all I have to do is point out the mess brownback and the republicans have done to this state.
There needs to be balance, right and left for democracy to work. The last few years, at the state level we haven't had that balance. Now all Kansans left, right and moderate are living with fewer freedoms, more racism and corporate abuse of pushing taxes on the middle and poor class and telling us to smile, we'll like it!
The problem is, "I told ya so", just doesn't cut it, does it?

Opponents of drug testing for welfare benefits see it as hassling the poor; Brownback says it will help
If they covered all recipients, then I agree. Of course there is the argument stated down below that anyone receiving state money should be subject to drug testing. Correct me, but if you hold a job in Kansas, all people are subject to drug testing, as all welfare recipients should also.

Brownback administration cites more savings from KanCare, wants to use funds for those with disabilities
Also serves less people as more and more people with disability fall through the holes and are no longer covered. Any program will save money, just make it nearly impossible to qualify for so less people will use it. Yes, do that for any program, it will save money. You might have the disabled out panhandling on the street, but at least the state isn't spending any money on them!

Here Hear! Brownback and the far right doesn't know the invitation for wrath they have asked for! The one thing that will get the middle class angry, and the pay back will ripple though every election for state office because the middle class knows brownback could not have done this without radical state congress and house of representatives! This is a classic example of "CORRUPT GOVERNMENT" that 3 out of 5 people recognize as a slap in the face of common sense. There is NO common sense to this as it is an open invitation for common sense and radicalism that we see in other Islam country's! Our state government is not better than Iran nor many of those other country's!

KU outlines significant cuts if Legislature cuts higher education funding
I'm not happy the sales tax is staying at 6.3%. Kansas is getting ripped off! If that isn't a tax increase, I don't know what one is!

Proposed Kansas science standards criticized for lack of depth
As Kansas standards become a joke just like the state has become, education in Kansas just won't be accepted in other states. I ram into this problem when I graduated from a high school in South Carolina. Many other schools in other states required special classes to make up for the education standards of SC. Kansas is going down the same road!
