House Republican leaders propose 1.5 percent cut to higher education for each of next two fiscal years
brownback is destroying more than higher education, he is destroying KANSAS! Here is a compromise, resend the tax cuts! Then everything will be on the level Kansas won't be some third world state. Oh, that is right, we are led by right wing extremist bent on destroying Kansas and freedom!

Gas prices approach record highs
The problem is, we are in a recession (don't care what the experts say, they are just saying what they are paid to say!) that will shut down this country!
And no, Obama has nothing to do with this. Until our government reinstate price controls, we the people will be at the mercy if investors.

House Republicans outline new tax plan
When are the republicans going to stop taxing the poor & disabled and start forcing the well to do pay their fair share. Every day, more and more poor people are loosing their homes or their rental apartments while the rich laughs all the way to the bank at the cost of the poor, disabled and the elderly! Kansans of substance should be ashamed of themselves!

Organized labor calls current Legislature one of the worst
this started long before browback became Governor. Workman's comp have consistently gotten worse every few years to a point that if you get hurt in Ks, you are just a throw away person. It all started when Kansas became a right to work state.
What ever you do, don't get injured in Kansas, your life is over from there on! I speak from experience!

Republicans push through proposal blocking the desires of advocates for the developmentally disabled
The poor, sick, elderly are discarded here in KS. We as a people here in Kansas ought to be ashamed at how we treat the weak, except for the Republican party, they rejoice in the misery they cause, & if they didn't cause it, they ignore it!

Republicans push through proposal blocking the desires of advocates for the developmentally disabled
I may have been wrong thinking it will take 10-15 yr. to get out of this mess. It is looking like 20-25 yrs.

Ralliers want to preserve current system of providing long-term services to those with disabilities
It is already a done deal. Brownback has either been paid, promised, but in essence guaranteed some kind of payment now or in the future from the ceo's of these companies so they can make millions off of people who don't have the means to provide the services on their own.
What is it going to take, a few law suits to get these companies to provide the needed services? You know brownback will use public money to defend these law suits. That in itself constitutes fraud as far as I am concerned. It is funny that politicians can be on the take, and unless you have a recording of them actually saying they are trying to defraud the people stealing tax payers money to make a bundle off the public.
