Bid approved for cable median barriers along K-10 corridor

Now when drunken driving idiots cross the median and kill themselves, they're less likely to cross over and hit oncoming traffic and take innocent lives. I'd rather people didn't drink and drive, but I'd also like to use that road without fear of getting hit by an oncoming car.

The name of the officer was probably obtainable on the KHP report, where as the FBI and LKPD didn't release anything (yet) about the other two officers.

Lawrence school principals ponder pursuit of school naming

Why is there even a need to change it from Junior High to Middle School? I understand they're shuffling around the grades, but how does that prompt a change at all? Are they legally obligated to call it something different based on the students who attend?
