Normal Weight Obesity - Where Are You Hiding Your Fat?

Ronda, I am finding it impossible to stay positive when posting on here. The grandmother of my best friend had a miserable experience, and I didn't quite believe her, I had to try it for myself.
The hate and malice just saps the strength right out of me. It is like dealing with psychic vampires.
I don't know how you people do it.
My friend, her grandmother and I are going to a movie and then to dinner at the Japanese place and try to put all of this behind us.
But, thank you for your kind remark.

House approves bill to waive marriage license fees for the poor

Ah, no reply to my posts, eh? Well, I am not surprised.
I will stick to the KU paper where "my kind" belong. Rather sad the way that students are treated by some. Are they hated or envied because they are getting an university education?

The Second Coming

You people are nothing but filthy beasts. I was warned about this but had to try it for myself. Well, now I know.
I won't have to read the response to this, assuming there is one, because I can guess.
Cie le vie.

lawrenceRezident I have a job now. It is just that I choose not to spend my money on those things. I put money in a savings account if I can.
I am studying hard and working hard so that when I graduate from University I will qualify for a good paying job.
No one will be "footing" any bills for me. I do not understand your anger.
On reflection it sounds to me as though the person who sponsored this bill is a bit frantic to make certain that no one is "living in sin."
Waste of time and energy if you ask me, but no harm done.

Not so fast there, Wilbur, I am a poor student and I do not buy cigarettes, beer or bottled water.

U.S. Attorney's office charges Lawrence men with methamphetamine trafficking

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Why assume that poor people get married because of a pregnancy? Do not the poor love as well and as deep as anyone else?
The cost of a marriage is in the emotional commitment you make to each other and to the children. Everyone bears the costs of shelter, food, clothes, etc.
I think that what is being said that if you cannot afford the fee for the marriage license how can you afford to pay the rent or buy groceries.
Frankly, I believe that there must be financial stability in order for a marriage to work, and there are poor people that live on a budget and know how to manage their affairs.
I have a friend that was in a dating relationship that was getting serious. She ended it when she realized that he was simply incapable of managing money. I think it was the right decision for her to make.
Marriage should be taken very, very seriously and should never be undertaken lightly.
There could be two stable, highly motivated people who are both working minimum wage jobs and they are living on a budget, but only just. They want to get married and have a family. What should they do?

User Names (UserNames) - Why are you who you are?

There are nine number in a SSN and you only have seven.
My avatar is totally obvious. My Mom gave me my nickname when I was a very small girl, I was her little Mariposa, always flitting around.
I remember running around Kew with my arms outstretched. I would bend over the flowers and pretend that I was a butterfly taking up pollen.
My world was happy and secure in the way that is only possible to a child who knows that they are wanted and loved. I looked forward to each day and at the end fell into bed and into sleep.
There are moments, fleeting though, when I can recapture some of that.

Law enforcement agencies investigating property just east of Lawrence

If I am understanding this correctly, most of the posters find someone's grief and frustration amusing?
I have no idea where this place is or what happened. In England people who live in the sink estates (housing projects) are considered to the the lowest of the low.
It sounds like something like that is at work here. Some people are fair game and their suffering is a joke.

Normal Weight Obesity - Where Are You Hiding Your Fat?

I want to eat when I get angry. Yesterday was a bad day for me so I got an Edwards pie at Walmart.
There are some foods that I associate with being on holiday so if I am blue I will eat those, hoping to recapture that holiday mood.
