For Kansas basketball, recruiting never ceases
I wonder how many coaches in top college basketball really want to see an end to the mentioned NBA rule? Its pretty nice to be able to fill in holes with a one and done. If KU had seven or eight one and dones, they could dismiss educational requirements altogether and focus on winning basketball games.

KU student arrested after fight sends Lawrence man to trauma center
Actually the phrase "hold their licker" was bastardized from the phrase " Hold there, pot-licker!"
The phrase is of Appalachian origin, and has a different meaning. There is also a phrase "Hold your licker" which means "to hold ones tongue". This phrase originated in the early 1800's when Berta Tubblecrack, of Knothead Kentucky, caught her husband returning after midnight. She exclaimed "Nothing good happens after midnight!". He retorted "Hold your licker, woman!" The next morning Mr.Tubblecrack packed a carpet bag and moved to Vermont where being out after midnight is not deemed deviant behavior.

Affordable Care Act bringing jobs to Lawrence
thanks for that. I don't understand how folks can miss the point of all this.
The middle class are the ones that take the brunt of the tax burden.
The middle class has always driven the economy. The same middle class that is being taxed to oblivion while the rich get richer. Pretty good slight of hand to get a good portion of the middle class to support their own demise.

One advantage for you is that your copay for an anti-depressant may get smaller.

oh hell no, they couldn't do that. It would make them look weak, and irrelevant.

Affordable Care Act bringing jobs to Lawrence
No, the ones that could pay were not paying into the system...Don't you remember McCain's plan? its called Obamacare now.
I would like to see the tax rates go up to the level they were under Reagan.

Affordable Care Act bringing jobs to Lawrence
well, of course they do. The Healthcare lobby in all its incarnations has always opposed any change. Afraid that the era of inflated reimbursements is gone. Oh my! what will we do!
Its pretty funny that we hear the hue and cry before the affordable healthcare act has even started.
oh, and if you think that employers don't intentionally short hours already so workers can't claim full time, and therefore full coverage, you are sadly mistaken.
I am sorry man, but I have heard this crap for decades. When Clinton took office hospital workers were made to feel that their jobs were on the line. The sky was falling!!
And as far as the big, fat, idiot is concerned..If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
If you don't want to be compared to the big, fat, idiot, quit talking like him.
