Developer, proposed Rock Chalk Park partner Thomas Fritzel involved in company that owes $3.4M in back taxes, fees
If I had a million dollars just handed to me without having to work for it; I think I wouuld use it other than ruining my fathers business

Well I'll start. If Thomas Fritzel's Dad didn't start Thomas with a million bucks or more (he didn't earn it on his own!) when he turned 18, we wouldn't be hearing about any of this. Gene Fritzel HAD a great reputation as a home builder. To bad Thomas got money hungry and is slowly destroying everything his Dad worked for. To bad for Gene.

Sound Off: Why in warm or hot weather does it always smell like raw sewage between Sixth and Tenness
Oh wait...there's some city sanitation worker putting a green plastic cart out in my driveway right now. Great. Now the city is taking my waste out of both ends!

LarryNative, it's not coming from the river banks. It's coming from you, me, everybody. We're stinky people.

Ronnie moved back to Junction City after his junior year so he graduated in J.C. The family moved to Lawrence the summer before we started 9th grade which was at west junior high. I wish the LJW would also include that not only was he in wrestling but also a cross country runner in his junior year and he was a great motocross racer with his KX-80 dirt bike. Ronnie taught me a lot about racing at the "round track" where Calvin Drive is now. He was a great friend and neighbor when we were kids. It's a tragic loss and I bet he was always passing his enthusiasm about sports onto his kids. I hope Patty, Ronnie's brother, and the rest of the family will be okay someday. My prayers to all of them. God speed Ronnie!

Junction City businessman Ron Bramlage had many ties to Lawrence
Great idea cheeseburger. Ronnie and his family would deserve that. He lived in Lawrence for about 2 1/2 years and made a lot of friends. I know a lot of people here that want to attend the service. Ronnie was one heck of a great guy.

Florida plane crash kills 6 from prominent Junction City family
I was great friends with Ronnie when he went to West Junior High and Lawrence High. Ronnie and his Mom invited me to go on my first airplane ride and we flew right over our neighborhood. He also was a great motocross racer. I started racing cause of him and we'd go to the "round track" in northern Lawrence all the time to practice before the races at Chapman. Great times with Ronnie. I'm sorry to hear about the tragedy for him and the family. I hope his Mom, Brother and everyone else will eventually be okay. God Speed Ronnie!
