Lawhorn's Lawrence: A night of partying in Oread
Looks like a kick. Just remember to avoid drinking so much you get alcohol poisoning, don't drive and no means no even when you are drunk.

Police to aggressively enforce seat-belt laws in 2013 Click It or Ticket campaign
Have you ever been in a wreck? I've rolled a few cars and I can tell you that the amount of control you have over a car during a wreck is nil. How do you propose controlling a car with a tie rod or ball joint broken off? To dispose of an airbag, you put it inside several tires and keep all people 50 feet away while you ignite the charge. Do you think your brain will be functional enough to allow you to drive just after such a device explodes 16 inches from your face?
Not wearing a seatbelt doesn't pose a threat to anyone but the person that doesn't wear it. You guys can stop using that red herring.

Budget provision would block state funding for Common Core standards
I like science. And standards, I like those too. I like the same standards you do although you are probably to my right on most of them.
We are in agreement then.
But tell me, isn't teaching in public schiool anything that contradicts a person's religion a violation of the first amendment?
What if they were teaching your kids that the world is 6000 years old? Would that not be an equal violation?

KU student killed in crash on U.S. Highway 59
"I've never understood why anyone wouldn't wear a seat belt."
First, it's a tragedy when a person dies. My condolences to all that knew the young man.
As for seat belts, I refuse to cede the decision whether to wear it.

Senate approves bill banning use of tax dollars to advocate for gun control
Bozo, I want the corporofascist state to utterly ignore my existence. That's called "freedom". I'm glad they couldn't care less about me.

Opinion: Benghazi, IRS: Son of Watergate?
Some more:
“Coalition for Life of Iowa found itself in the IRS’s crosshairs when the group applied for tax exempt status in October 2008. Nearly ten months of interrogation about the group’s opposition to Planned Parenthood included a demand by a Ms. Richards from the IRS’ Cincinnati office unlawfully insisted that all board members sign a sworn declaration promising not to picket/protest Planned Parenthood. Further questioning by the IRS requested detailed information about the content of the group’s prayer meetings, educational seminars, and signs their members hold outside Planned Parenthood."
It's like a liberal inquisition.
