Lt. Gov. Colyer to testify to Congress that economy hurt by Affordable Care Act

I thought all he did was polish Sam Brownbacks shoes. Has he ever spoken in public before?

18 area students named National Merit semifinalists

I don't follow your math. How big is Free State's graduating class? Are you suggesting that 18% of Free State's graduating class is 261? That would mean their graduating class would have to be 1450. I think Free State's graduating class is usually 300-350.

I don't follow your math.

And secondly, public schools like Free State and Lawrence High accept everybody. Private schools like Bishop Seabury can pick and chose who they accept. It's apples and oranges.

Brownback rings Kansas bell to mark King speech

Anyway, back to Governor Brownback. I sincerely hope he listened to every word of Dr. King's speech and will have a change of heart about some of his policies.

Brownback's office redacts names of Court of Appeals candidates from his schedule

The last thing Brownback and Kobach want is transparency. The less the voters know the better. The more people they can keep from voting the better.

It is all very shameful that Kansas puts up with these wannabe dictators.

Brownback to participate in ceremony commemorating 50th anniversary of March on Washington

Apparently Sam Brownback has no idea what the March on Washington was all about.

Sen. Roberts appointed to farm bill conference committee

Pat Roberts comes to Kansas once a year. He spends part of one day at the state fair and then flies back home to Virginia. He hasn't lived in Kansas for 20 years. He keeps an apartment in Dodge City just because he legally has to.

What a joke these politicians play on the voters.

Kobach considering plan that could produce two kinds of voters

Even the most die-hard republican has to see that this guy is a disaster and in way over his head.

Kansans to receive $4 million in insurance refunds under Affordable Care Act, White House reports

The only thing keeping Lynn Jenkins from the title of "Worst Representative" is Little Timmy Huelskamp.

Right now the standings are-

Worst Representative- Little Timmy Huelskamp

2nd Worst Representative- Lynn Jenkins

KU researchers confirm that T. rex truly was a 'monster'

On the contrary, I am very proud of the solid research going on at The University of Kansas.

As for "pure silliness" well that term would apply to Brownback, Kobach and most of the Kansas legislature.

Sound Off: School district conference

It's funny how these "symposium's" are always in Florida or California. You never hear about a symposium in North Dakota or Wyoming.
