Biography

I have made major changes in my life!this below,is old news,I am now working in town in a public place! I feel much more happy and hopeful!

Someone needs to buy my 64 purple Mercedes!

I'm just a working stiff. progressive humanist,if you need a label. I don't have a PhD,I have a GED! I only know what I've discovered in my self educating quest.I am nobody,and that is just fine.My half hearted hobby would be fun gas powered vehicles,cars,motorbikes,and other powers as well,human,electric,bicycles,whatever.My more impassioned hobby is being a truth and knowledge seeker.I'm very soft spoken in real life,so people tend to just talk over me.So for me online forums are perfect.I am offered equal space and weight in conversations.
I don't drink nearly enough,I'm a much happier person if I blow off a little steam once in a while.For me that would be a few down at the brewery.I should do it far more often.
I'm a single dad.Have had some pretty rough relationship experiences.But ain't we all. I'm 42 I'm a stagehand in KC.Thus far,the highlight of my career was operating a spotlight for 32 shows of "the Phantom of the Opera".I've work most all of the big shows,Cats Rent,etc.rock shows,and big conventions,and events like cars shows.Sounds exciting,I know.To me it is boring. not too social but I am nice and polite So working behind the scenes is perfect for me.I can't hang with the 9 to 5 thing,I need more me time .Though I have no religion,I loosely follow the Buddhist and Taoist philosophies.I thought I was wiccan for a while,maybe I am,but I have no interest in influencing others in ways other than words.I'd rather let life happen to me.Than try to affect it. Update,I downsized my life,and live a life I can believe in more now.I walk, rather than drive long distance to work now.I earn a lot less money, but need less too.The change has been dramatic and difficult on many levels,I hope to blog about it soon.

How I came to live in Lawrence

I moved here for at least three reasons.To cut my commute to KC in half.was the most apparent reason.However,I moved here to be near like-minded people,thinking people.I came here so my daughter wouldn't grow up in Topeka.So she might have a shot a college,like the shot I blew off.
