Cost estimates for Rock Chalk Park infrastructure come in about $3 million higher than expected; Self's foundation to make $2 million donation

You obviously are of the opinion the only areas which count for KU are Lawrence and KC. Rather naive and dumb to say the least! KU has a presence throughout the entire state and the Assists Foundation should be a reflection of that. Although they are operated independantly it would be better served to have the Assist Foundation branch out. Perhaps you are unaware this is not the first donation as they have done several in the past and all have gone to these two cities. Attempting to bring in KSU to the discussion is stupid.

I continue to be disappointed in the Assists Foundation making donations only to Lawrence and KC area. The KU coach is a KANSAS statewide coach and not a penny goes elsewhere. I refuse to continue contributing.

Current, former KU football players among three arrested in connection with home invasion

When they sign with KU they also sign an "oath of office" to uphold whatever it is KU puts in writing. That way they are held accountable as they signed this document. Weis doesn't mess around. Martin will be discipline for sure.

KU players' tattoos tell life stories

I appreciate and respect what these guys say how the things they have on their bodies mean something to him.

However, out in the real world if you are covered all over your arms that very well may perceived as a deteriment in job searches. I know employers who require tatoos to be covered while at work.

I understand having 1 or 2 on the arm area but to be tatted up and down entirely is too much.
Having them in places not seen is something entirely different.

Lastly, just because we have favorites sayings, friends, family, etc. doesn't mean we advertised on our bodies. But, it is inside what counts most and alot of people draw instant conclusions of people who are tatted up.

I appreciate this papers concern to talk with these young men and their insights into their own beliefs.

More twists with recreation center project: KU Endowment now requiring city to pay for land; UPDATE Self's Foundation again planning donation to city

I've stopped contributing to the Assists Foundation as it doesn't support state wide projects. The only beneficairies have been KCK and Lawrence. The rest of the state gets nothing.
