Moderate majority could be in jeopardy in 2008

Steve Abrams is a successful veterinarian. Janet Waugh peddles used cars. Which one do you think knows more about biology?

Court asked to rethink ruling in 1974 killing

Uh, I don't know how you square that silly opinion with the fact that Kline has already asked the Seven Dwarves to reconsider their decision. But then again I keep forgetting what a narrow-minded, hateful place Lawrence is.

The obvious villains in this story are the unelected, unrepresentative left-wing mental midgets that dominate the court thanks to a process that's also highly flawed.

If these boobs had their way we'd be molly coddling monsters like the Carr brothers and John Robinson.

What we need is a fast track to executions so we can exterminate the vermin before the vermin on the bench can turn them loose.

Simons: Regents should demand answers from hospital affiliation

When you look at the players involved and see slimeballs like Dick Bond and David Adkins slithering around, you know the deal's dirty.

The essence here is that the Missouri folks have smelled the money KU Hospital is making and they're going after its profit centers, leaving behind the losers for the taxpayers to support.

Watch also as Sebelius, who gets a lot of campaign money from the metro area establishment, sells out KU Hospital. A quick investigation of Hemenway's vitae will also show his cozy relationship with the KCMO establishment. Kansans can trust him about as far as they can throw him.

The only real problem is the make up of the Regents. With Bond and some of Sebelius' folks on there, KU Hospital may be up the creek.

Regents urged to oversee KU interests in hospital deal

Neither the chancellor, nor Bond can be trusted to oversee anything involving this transaction. Both are far too cozy with the people on the other side to be trusted to serve KU's best interests.

KU Med signs agreement with St. Luke's, KU Hospital

Bend over KU Med, you've been sold out. The sleaze elements of the metro area will get rich while the taxpayers will be left holding the bag for the losses.

Whom would you nominate for Kansan of the year?

Phill Kline for trying unsuccessfully to prove that no one should be above the law and for suffering through the hate mongering of Kansas' corrupt media.

Kansas, as corrupt and bigoted as you think it is.

Anti-war sentiment growing

Oh look, this is controversial, a bunch of libs undermining American foreign policy. One can only wonder when the miraculous will occur and there will be a dictator somewhere, or a regime so evil that they will actally hate it more than they hate America and the democracy it stands for.

One can also wonder why they didn't wait for today to protest instead of when it was 60 degrees out.

Also note prepared signs. Who paid for those?
