Column: QB switch affects RB James Sims, too

It seemed to me that the front line didn't give quit the protection to Cummings that they had been giving Crist. It would have been great to see what he could do with a little more time.

Having said that my disclaimer is that although I LOVE football I know next to nothing about football plays/formations/etc. Just my personal opinion.

And "yes", I am one who stayed for the whole game as I have for all of the home games. I have great hopes for the team under Weis. I also appreciate that he seemed to listen to the crowd about wanting them to go for it when they were just a few yards short on 4th down with only a couple of minutes to go in the game. To me it showed him that the crowd (the devoted fans) are willing for him to take a few "risks".
