WOW to begin work later this month on upgrade to boost Internet speeds in city

WOW to begin work later this month on upgrade to boost Internet speeds in city
It's pretty sad that in 2013 the best home Internet option in Lawrence, KS is a 22 Mbps maximum connection that fluctuates almost constantly. I called WOW! today hoping for a 30 or 50 Mbps package but alas, Palladium is as good as it gets.

Regal chain buys Lawrence's Hollywood Theaters; speculation begins on whether upgrade is in the future
Chad, you should do an LJWorld website poll on this issue to see how many people that live in Lawrence would rather drive 20-30 minutes to a KC area theater versus going to Southwind 12.

"exceptional theater"? Seriously? I'm 6'5" and literally can't sit in the seats due to the lack of leg room between each row. I haven't been to Southwind in years because of that and how dirty it always was. Instead, I gladly spend the extra 40 minute round trip to Legends for a much better experience.
